The FABRIKA project, supported by Erasmus+, is a collaborative initiative addressing urgent skill gaps within the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS), particularly in peripheral regions like Malta and Hungary. The project partners are KULTURLINK Alapítvány (Hungary) and the Gabriel Caruana Foundation (Malta). The project seeks to modernise Vocational Education and Training (VET) by aligning it with the evolving needs of CCS professionals.
This first transnational event in Malta will be held in January 2025. Hosted by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation serves as a cornerstone of the FABRIKA project, bringing together CCS professionals, educators, and stakeholders to engage in knowledge sharing and capacity building. The event focuses on:
- Connecting Like-Minded Peers: Establishing a network of CCS professionals and VET learners.
- Identifying Challenges and Solutions: Conducting problem mapping and actionable steps exercises to address sectoral issues.
- Upskilling Participants: Hands-on activities provide practical training in fundraising, financial expertise, and internationalisation strategies.
- Developing Outputs: Participant input will directly shape project outputs, including a digital platform and expert guides tailored to national contexts.
Through interactive sessions and collaborative exercises, participants will leave the event with deeper knowledge of CCS challenges, enhanced skills, and actionable strategies for tackling financial and internationalisation hurdles. This event also builds the foundation for transnational educational events, fostering sustainable cooperation between Malta and Hungary.
