Gabriel Caruana bestowed in absentia with the title of Master of Letters – Honoris Causa by the University of Malta. Architect Torpiano sponsored this honour and Architect Richard England gave the oration. The conferment ceremony was held at the University’s church, the Jesuit church in Valletta.
