In 2017 through the Kreaturi project, the Gabriel Caruana Foundation organized eight workshops at The Mill – Art, Culture and Crafts Centre, Birkirkara. These workshops provided a space for 10 to 13-year-old children to unleash their creative potential. During the workshops, children were introduced to modern art in Malta, the main modern artists and Gabriel Caruana’s artistic legacy, with a focus on his biomorphic figures. The workshops focused on ceramic hand-building techniques with the aim of creating unique sculptures based on the kids’ individual expression and experiences.
