Bio
Luke Caruana is a Maltese graphic designer and co-founder of 2point3, a boutique graphic design studio based in Valletta – Malta. His focus is on identity design and information graphics and he aims to communicate messages into a clear perspective that go deeper than the surface value.
Rationale:
I always recall passing through Birkirkara and being visually struck by The Mill. The partially hidden landmark contrasts beautifully with its busy surroundings. To this day, the bold and colourful paintings placed around the building’s façade continue to ignite my creative senses. My interpretation of The Mill utilises bold lines and bright colours to breakaway from the uninspiring background.
