Morph (2021) by Kim Sammut was exhibited as part of her installation Subliminal Fragments exhibited during 'Between Ourselves' at The Mill, curated by Elyse Tonna and part of the SPRING Artistic Programme by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation.

Kim Sammut's work grows and evolves, venturing across stylistic realms. Her choice of medium is mostly thematic, with each one allowing her to dive deeper into a notion and explore its every facet. In almost every case, the human figure features prominently, albeit occasionally obscured by layers of abstraction.

The works presented by the artist draw from earlier works as well as some of her recent pieces, form part of a fragmented whole - they come together to provide a glimpse into the mind of an artist who, while perpetually in motion, grapples with core notions of identity, the woman in contemporary society, and remnants of her life experiences.
