This series of photographs were shown as part of her installation Subliminal Fragments exhibited during ‘Between Ourselves’ at The Mill, curated by Elyse Tonna and part of the SPRING Artistic Programme by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation. The works presented by the artist draw from earlier works as well as some of her recent pieces, form part of a fragmented whole – they come together to provide a glimpse into the mind of an artist who, while perpetually in motion, grapples with core notions of identity, the woman in contemporary society, and remnants of her life experiences.

Kim’s formal training started with an advanced diploma in Fine Arts and Photography at the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, and is now reading for a degree in Psychology and Fine Arts at the University of Malta. Her work has been exhibited at The Splendid in Valletta and as part of the {V} exhibition at Spazju Kreattiv, it can also be found in several private collections.
