Storytelling? Sounds? Images? Objects? What are we up to at The Mill? Our Community Engagement Officer, Martina Camilleri, together with artist Rachelle Deguara are cooking up a magical Easter workshop for children between 7 to 10 years old! Together we will explore and collect different stories around The Mill, Birkirkara. Sounds, images and objects will help with finding new ways of sharing these stories – learning more about the past, understanding the present and imagining new futures.

The SPRING x Community is a programme of activities aimed at connecting more closely with the Gabriel Caruana Foundation's SPRING Artistic Programme for Emerging Artists. In the first series of workshops aimed for children between 7 and 10 years of age, we will explore and collect different stories around The Mill, Birkirkara. Sounds, images and objects will help with finding new ways of sharing these stories - learning more about the past, understanding the present and imagining new futures.
A total of four sessions will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays 3rd, 5th, 10th & 12th April between 10.00 - 12.00. Limited spaces available, pre-booking is essential.
The Mill - Art, Culture and Crafts Centre, Birkirkara
The participation fee is inclusive of VAT and materials will be provided by the Foundation. All proceeds go towards the Gabriel Caruana Foundation SPRING Artistic Programme for Emerging Artists and Conservation efforts of The Mill, a Schedule 1 protected heritage site.
